Bruno Sorg
Established in 1970 and now run by son François, Domaine Bruno Sorg is based at Eguisheim just south of Colmar. Although only a small producer, the domaine makes wine from almost every Alsace variety in small quantities but to a very high standard. François believes that his wines owe their quality to the work he accomplishes in the vineyard. His Gewürztraminer is typical of the variety, with a tropical fruit nose and a fresh intensity dry but with fruit sweetness and an elegant spicy finish – perfect with asian food.
