Usually a blend of equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with about 10% Cabernet Franc and a dash of Petit Verdot, it is vinified under temperature controlled conditions, in a combination of wood and stainless steel vats. After between 12 and 18 months in oak, the wine has become perfumed, supple and attractive whilst losing nothing of its well-formed tannic structure.
