Red Winemaker of the Year (International Wine Challenge 2002 & 2003) Michel Gros makes delightful Vosne-Romanée at each level. The low yielding vineyards are from very small parcels using only the very best grapes. Aged in oak (30-40% new barrels) for a period of 18 months, this wine shows all the silky, stylish features typical of this highly regarded commune. The combination of fruit, tannin and oak is exquisite.

Domaine Michel Gros The Gros family have been vignerons in the village of Vosne-Romanée since 1804. Domaine Michel Gros was created in 1995 when he inherited parcels of vines from his father and only 7 years later was awarded the title of Red Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge. He won it the following year too! He now has 18 hectares at his disposal as the Ecard family entrusted him to run their 3.5 hectares in Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges. His wines offer great purity and intensity of flavour, seducing the senses with their ripe flavours and silky texture.
