	Riesling, Domaine Mittnacht Frères 2003 From an area of classic Riesling country around Hunawihr, and from a biodynamic winery, this a real delight. Wonderful aromas vie with the flavours for first palce in terms of intensity. Although very dry the wine has a richness of texture which is typical of Alsace Riesling and makes them perfect for accompanying Asian cuisine.

Domaine Mittnacht Frères
This winery was created in the early 1960’s when two brothers combined their establishments but in effect it has been around for many generations, run by one of their ancestors, and is now run by two cousins Christophe and Marc. The vineyards are enviably situated between Ribeauville and Hunawihr and include two excellent Grands Crus sites. This is classic Rielsing country but their Gewürztraminers are also wonderful. The grapes are organically grown, as well as being cultivated biodynamically.
