Jean-Paul Durup is gradually taking over the reins of the Domaine from his father but his commitment to fresh, exceptionally well-made and unoaked wines continues. Their wines feature on many Michelin-starred restaurants in France. This Chablis is crisp and fresh with a steely minerality, yet the fruit is gentle and appealing.

Domaine de l’Eglantière This is part of the largest family domaine in all of Burgundy which is currently going through some interesting changes. Jean-Paul Durup is taking on more responsibility from his father in running the business, and winemaker of 30 years, Michel Poitou is gradually handing over to his son, Louis. This is traditional pure, crisp, minerally Chablis, the original and flagship for the domaine – all the best wine goes into l’Eglantière. No oak is used in this domaine to maintain the fresh, true flavours of the grape and terroir.
