These can often compete with the great wines of the Côte d’Or, and can represent the true style of a perfect Chablis. Denis’s wines take time to develop but can be appreciated for their fruit and balanced acidity even now.

Domaine Denis Race

Domaine Denis Race
Now in its fourth generation, and comprising 14 hectares across Chablis and 4 Premiers Crus sites, as well as a tiny parcel of vines in the Grand Cru commune of Blanchot. Denis Race's main holding is in Montmain which includes a parcel of 60 year old vines, which are always vinifed and bottled separately. All the wines are made using stainless steel for a fresh taste of pure Chablis style, but the ‘vielles vignes’ will improve and develop with age over several years.
