Very few Champagne Houses can rival the style and elegant presentation of a Gosset bottle but what of the liquid therein? It too is one of only a small number of really superb rosé Champagnes, and Gosset can boast the Celebris to be in the very top of tier of any sparkling wines. The Pinot Noir grapes are from vineyards sited around Aÿ and make a wine which is both bold and elegant, dry and biscuity yet bursting with ripe strawberries.

Gosset Maison Gosset has been in the business of wine-making for four centuries but initially this was still and mostly red wine and such was its reputation that King François I bought a winery in Äy which is now owned by Gosset. When Champagne became a wine with bubbles in the 18th century, Gosset followed suit and was equally successful. Today, to preserve the fine traditions and character of the House, the wine production is, even now, done by hand, wood is an important feature in the cellar and old-style bottles are used for the presentation of these fine, long-lived wines.
