Annick Tinel-Blondelet Annick Tinel represents the 6th generation of winemakers. Annick Tinel and her late husband both studied viticulture before taking over a share of the family estate, which today extends to 12 hectares. Young and dynamic, Annick Tinel's estate has become a force to be reckoned with in the area. Her Pouilly-Fumé vineyards are split between the kimmeridgean soil of the commune of Pouilly itself and flinty vineyards further afield. Her wines have a complexity of style that is enhanced by controlled fermentation in small stainless steel and temperature controlled tanks (50 - 60 hectolitres). '' L'Arrêt Buffate" is named after its location on a Roman road between Clermont-Ferrand and Paris where people with horses would stop and have a rest. This particular cuvée comes from vines which are around 40 years old.
