Another award-winning wine from this well-known Domaine in the Var of Provence, this Rosé bowled us over when we first tasted it. It is made from old vine Cinsault with some Grenache added, is a tantalising rose petal pink, has a delightful fruity nose and berry fruit flavours on the palate.

Château Miraval Guide Hachette has named Château Miraval in the top 500 estates of France, in the Var of Provence in southern France. The property, which can be dated back to Roman times and having gone through many changes since then, has recently invested in replanting some of the 30 hectares of vineyards and new technology in the winery. The old vines which remain are Cinsault grapes which go into the production of the outstanding, award-winning rosé along with some Grenache. Other grapes grown are the white Rolle on the particularly suitable Terre Blanche vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah for the Côtes de Provence red.
