This is not your average Tocai and should not to be confused with either Alsace Tokay, Hungarian Tokaji or inferior Friuli wines of this grape! This is superior in every way – from the vineyard sites, to the grapes themselves from old vines and the vinification process. Every effort has been made to achieve a truly finer wine than others of the area. Refreshing, but so much more –stylish and modestly complex, a treasure for Summer drinking.

Graziano Specogna The Specogna family now have 15 hectares of vineyard on the hill of Rocca Bernarda in the heart of the Colli Orientali DOC zone. The superior quality of Grazino’s ripe fresh fruit is undeniable, and his mission is to make as highly individual wines as possible with a great richness of flavour. The site of his Tocai vines of between 50 and 70 years old, has long been recognised as one of the best for this grape variety, and low yields and clever wine-making make this a wine to savour.
